Compare This To Any Other Addiction

One doesn't have to be around addicts or alcoholics very much or very long to know that their problems have more to do with Who They Are instead of what they think. Their own bible, the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous says, "...Many of us had moral and philosophical convictions galore, but we could not live up to them even though we would have liked to." When it comes to Unlimited Greed the right wing seem to be afflicted in the same way and to have developed "denial" to an art. Some have crossed over into what we would call delusional.

Denial is when you look at a problem, turn away, and say to yourself, "I don't want to face that so I will act like it isn't there, although I know it is."

Delusion is when you look at a problem and don't see it as a problem.

That is why the attitude that they are just being greedy "for right now", as if it is a phase that they are going through, and when they get "ENOUGH" they will stop - is ridiculous. That is like waiting for a junkie to stop shooting heroin when he gets enough or waiting for an alcoholic to get enough to stop drinking. Every time someone presents facts they seem to think that is the starting point for a debate. When the theory that you made proves itself to be wrong, (We waited for eight years during the Bush administration for them to somehow magically "CHANGE" into being something resembling the right idea. Here it is, the reality of the way things are is that...THEY DON'T HAVE A CLUE.) They seem to think that if they say something over and over instead of looking at the way things actually are, based on the facts, then somehow it becomes that way to the world around them. It is like watching someone who still believes in Santa Clause because they were told that it is the right thing to do. Along with Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy, there are:

  1. Tax Cuts for the rich helps create jobs. (All physical evidence shows otherwise, although the answer that poor people can't hire anyone doesn't have anything to do with the fact that the unlimited greed victims of our country are soon going to hire American workers - their own client base - hasn't happened in over ten years. They are spending the money, but not on salaries for employees or new hires. They are actually decreasing pay and benefits for the employees they have.)
  2. Bipartisanship on the part of Republicans in congress. (This is a myth. The dictionary again states that the word bipartisan means, "...–adjective
representing, characterized by, or including members from two parties or factions: Government leaders hope to achieve a bipartisan foreign policy. ". The ring leader of the Obstructionists, John McCain is an angry old man who still is trying to get even for the 2008 election, not correct our country's problems, since they don't financially effect him.)
  3. The stimulus created zero jobs. (Jobs didn't come back to where they were supposed to because of outsourcing and illegal alien labor usage and the Republicans didn't want Obama to be seen fixing, like Clinton did, the problem Bush created. That is why they wouldn't approve more than 2 billion dollars to fix a three trillion dollar problem. You do the math. But the decline of jobs did slow down and a lot of jobs were created.)
  4. Republicans care about the country first, politics last. (Not since right after the civil war. Before anyone starts arguing about the days when they were "the party of reason" I will point at Sarah Palin, Sharon Angle, and California's Republican State Senator Dennis Hollingsworth and remind you who you are talking about. I keep hearing about how they used to be the party of reason, and a raisin used to be a grape, also, but I don't think that quality helps much.)
  5. Republicans have a better plan. (Show me the Republican Plan for health care reform, income tax relief, job creation, and economic growth. They never had one, they were TRYING to say everything was fine until Henry Paulson got George Bush to announce the financial crisis that we had been in for seven years. "...The fundamentals of our economy are strong." We all know what windbag made that statement.)
  6. That conservatives ARE NOT RESISTANT TO CHANGE. (It is like a fear that pervades their every waking moment. The dictionary version of what conservative means is "...The disposition in politics to preserve the status quo." And the obstructionist Republicans want you to believe that they want things to change for anything other than rich people like themselves.

  7. That when you get tested for being able to drive and the test proves that you are too old to function, then you are incapacitated, but even then, for being elected to office, that form of dementia doesn't matter when making decisions for our nation. (Ronald Reagan had Alzheimer's when he was elected governor of California.)

Even the most happily blinded by fame and reality minded celebrity, Arnold Schwarzenegger, could not stomach most of the idiocy that is being blurted out of some people's mouths. Anyone who has studied the biggest sources of anti American propaganda for their own profit is two sources, Rupert Murdoch with Newscorps and the Koch Brothers with Koch Industries. From the story about a recent speech from Arnold Schwarzenegger the Governor of California:
"...Proposition 23, the initiative that would suspend California's greenhouse gas laws, is not about saving jobs. It is about greed, said California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Speaking at a Commonwealth Club event in Santa Clara, the governor lashed out at the companies--particularly Valero, Koch Industries and Tesoro--trying to effectively get rid of the state's carbon regulation law, known by its bill name AB 32. Technically, Prop 23 would suspend AB 23 until employment falls below 5.5 percent, something that has occured only sporadically in the last few decades. "This is a corruption of the democratic process," he said. "Texas oil companies have descended upon California to overturn a California law. There is a struggle playing out right here in California that the world does not know much about." " You can read the whole story at

Running Away With ONE WORD

Can someone tell me how seizing on ONE WORD from the president's speech to make a story makes it a story? I am so sick of the idiot columnists making a big deal out of one word from a speech without seeming to listen to the speech that I am tired of online information, also. Who told sensationalist news reporters that they were bloggers to begin with? They aren't. They New York Times needs to quit calling them that. Bloggers are independent opinion related columns based on an average person's experience, NOT some sensationalist news reporter's column published ONLINE. In the president's recent speech, he mentioned that he thought that the tax cuts for EVERYONE ELSE were being held hostage by the taxcuts for the rich. Let me break it down for you sensationalizing morons.
A) He is not negotiating for hostages or with hostage takers.
B) He was using the words "being taken hostage" as a metaphor or analogy, meaning that NO ONE BUT THE RICH WAS GETTING A FAIR DEAL and that is discrimination and not fair, democratic, or anything anyone but rich, insensitive, clueless, out of touch morons would find difficult to ascertain. I wish to give a lot of credit to one columnist whose work I saw in another columnist article today, she wrote truthfully about what she saw in the Bush Administration and called it The Uncompassionate Conservative written by Molly Ivins, entitled The Uncompassionate Conservative in an online publication that I never read (online or otherwise), Molly Jones. Maybe I should subscribe.
Her point was well made but now let me get to mine: Hey, Columnists! ONE WORD DOES NOT MAKE A STORY, OK ?

Islamic Connection

I am an avid fan of the internet news show entitled "The Young Turks" and I fully believe that most of what they say is right on point. Recently Cenk Uygur made the statement that just by virtue of being Muslim, the Islamic Mosque in New York City has nothing to do with the hearts and minds that were involved with the 9-11 attack since they did not have anything to do with that and several Muslims were killed in the attack, also. They believe that if they or any of their own people are killed in a Jihad, it is just and right and there are so many other things that play into the equation that I am sickened by what I remember.
The lies of Dick Cheney, George Bush, and especially Karl Rove were blatant as we can see in this film. After the Scott McClellan resignation, several of their ploys came to light and were incorporated in the movie by Oliver Stone entitled, "W". They had a good approval rating so they attacked Iraq in order to scare Iran into giving us oil rights in their country. That is the reason Saddam Hussein is dead. Because, as George Bush admitted later on, "He tried to kill my daddy!" Immature little demigods shouldn't be given that much authority. Dubya was not intelligent enough to see through his cabinet or else he is just as devious as they are. You decide!

The time has come for the Democrats to remember what the Republicans have done to them. The time has come for the American People to remember who created the giant deficit and who has been trying to blame it on the Democrats. Example: The Term Obama Bailouts is s LIE which the Republicans hope you remember that way. Tea Party was the 1996 gun control activists, not the Tea Bagger movement. The Mamma Grizzlies are for PRO CHOICE NOT PRO LIFE which Sarah Palin tried to hijack. The civil rights movement was started by Martin Luther King and his family and church members in the sixties. Glenn Beck tried to say he was part of that and that the Democrats had something to do with that. WRONG! Glenn Beck wasn't even born during the "I have a dream..." speech. Glenn Beck is a liar and Fox News is not news, it is a right wing propaganda movement.
Please study the graphic below and remember.

I remember who it was announcing on the White House lawn that we were in a financial crisis and brought about the fear necessary to get congress to allow the Hank Paulson / George Bush Bailouts.

The Rand Paul Campaign Curb Stomping Event

There is a guy named Tim Proffit who is a supposed "supporter" of Rand Paul. His idea of beating up anyone who wants to protest while Rand Paul is present is something he calls "crowd control". At least five goons from the Rand Paul campaign Entourage saw a lady who was there to yell and wave a protest sign during his entrance to a debate/ exit from his car. She was pulled by her hair, which was a wig and came off, then pulled down by her clothing and then Tim Profitt stomped on her neck and head while she was laying in the gutter with her head on the curb- where she had been thrown .

Then the usual racist beating occurred. They need to press charges. No it is not up to the prosecutor. Fox News is trying to turn this into an Obama issue, which has nothing to do with the president. His involvement in the Gates case was only a comment, originally. Then he had the beer summit at the White House.

I can't even turn off my TV and get around it!

Hi everyone,
I just heard another conspiracy theory from a guy who I almost missed years ago. Now, think about this. The Republicans and Fox News reverberated the same mantra over and over trying to discredit President Obama when he was running for office. Dick Morris must have missed the point. The first thing they were taught to chant was "I AM AFRAID" and "Who Is This Guy? We don't know who he is or what he will do!"
But Dick Morris knew what he was going to do before even investigating him. I guess he has E.S.P.
This is his interview with Shawn Hannity who looks like even he is surprised by this comment.
Here he is getting owned by another commentator.
This guy is a complete moron and is delusional. Here is what he said about Palin.

Exclusive: Foreign-Funded ‘U.S.’ Chamber Of Commerce Running Partisan Attack Ads

Exclusive: Foreign-Funded ‘U.S.’ Chamber Of Commerce Running Partisan Attack Ads
Citation below.

The largest attack campaign against Democrats this fall is being waged by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a trade association organized as a 501(c)(6) that can raise and spend unlimited funds without ever disclosing any of its donors. The Chamber has promised to spend an unprecedented $75 million to defeat candidates like Jack Conway, Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA), Jerry Brown, Rep. Joe Sestak (D-PA), and Rep. Tom Perriello (D-VA). As of Sept. 15th, the Chamber had aired more than 8,000 ads on behalf of GOP Senate candidates alone, according to a study from the Wesleyan Media Project. The Chamber’s spending has dwarfed every other issue group and most political party candidate committee spending. A ThinkProgress investigation has found that the Chamber funds its political attack campaign out of its general account, which solicits foreign funding. And while the Chamber will likely assert it has internal controls, foreign money is fungible, permitting the Chamber to run its unprecedented attack campaign. According to legal experts consulted by ThinkProgress, the Chamber is likely skirting longstanding campaign finance law that bans the involvement of foreign corporations in American elections.

In recent years, the Chamber has become very aggressive with its fundraising, opening offices abroad and helping to found foreign chapters (known as Business Councils or “AmChams”). While many of these foreign operations include American businesses with interests overseas, the Chamber has also spearheaded an effort to raise money from foreign corporations, including ones controlled by foreign governments. These foreign members of the Chamber send money either directly to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, or the foreign members fund their local Chamber, which in turn, transfers dues payments back to the Chamber’s H Street office in Washington DC. These funds are commingled to the Chamber’s 501(c)(6) account which is the vehicle for the attack ads:

– The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has created a large presence in the small, oil-rich country of Bahrain. In 2006, the Chamber created a local affiliate called the “U.S.-Bahrain Business Council” (USBBC), an organization to help businesses in Bahrain take advantage of the Chamber’s “network of government and business relationships in the US and worldwide.” As the USBBC’s bylaws state, it is not an actual separate entity, rather it is simply an office of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s 501(c)(6) trade association. Many of the USBBC’s board members are Bahrainian, including Aluminum Bahrain, Gulf Air, Midal Cables, the Nass Group, Bahrain Maritime & Mercantile International, the Bahrain Petroleum Company (state-owned), Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, and First Leasing Bank. With each of these foreign board members to the USBBC contributing at least $10,000 annually, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce raises well over $100,000 a year in money from foreign businesses through its operation in Bahrain. Notably, the membership form provided by the USBBC directs applicants to send or wire their money directly to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The membership form also explicitly states that the foreign-owned firms are welcomed.

– Like the Chamber’s involvement in Bahrain, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce operates in India through a group called “U.S.-India Business Council” (USIBC), which has offices around the world but is headquartered in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Dozens of Indian businesses, including some of India’s largest corporations like the State Bank of India (state-run) and ICICI Bank, are members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce through the USIBC. Annual membership dues range from $7,500 to $15,000 or more, and the money is given directly into the Chamber’s 501(c)(6) bank account. Like the USBBC, the USIBC generates well over $200,000 a year in dues for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce from foreign businesses. On the USIBC website, many of the groups lobbying goals advocate changing American policy to help businesses in India. Under the manufacturing policy goal, USIBC boasts that it “can play a helpful role in guiding U.S. companies to India, while supporting various policy initiatives that will enhance India’s reputation as a major manufacturing and investment hub.”

– Many foreign “AmChams” or Business Councils operate outside the direct sphere of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce but nonetheless send dues money back to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. For instance, the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt is a separate entity based in Cairo that raises hundreds of thousands of dollars from both Egyptian firms and American businesses. However, the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt calls itself “the most active affiliates of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in the” Middle East. Another foreign chamber, like the Abu Dhabi AmCham, which includes American firms and Esnaad, a subsidiary of the state-run Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, claims that it is a a “dues paying member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and part of the global network of American Chambers of Commerce.” In Russia, the relationship between the American Chamber of Commerce there and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce here is opaque. This might be because many of the dues-paying members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia are Russian state-run companies, like VTB Bank, and controlled by the Russian government. Asked by ThinkProgress if the Russian Chambers pay dues back to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Ksenia Forsheneva, the membership development manager at the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia, replied, “Unfortunately the information that you require is closed for the public.”

Previously, it has been reported that foreign firms like BP, Shell Oil, and Siemens are active members of the Chamber. But on a larger scale, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce appears to rely heavily on fundraising from firms all over the world, including China, India, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Russia, and many other places. Of course, because the Chamber successfully lobbied to kill campaign finance reforms aimed at establishing transparency, the Chamber does not have to reveal any of the funding for its ad campaigns. Dues-paying members of the Chamber could potentially be sending additional funds this year to help air more attack ads against Democrats.

Here’s how it works. Regular dues from American firms to the Chamber can range from $500 to $300,000 or more, depending on their size and industry, and can be used for any purpose deemed necessary by the Chamber leadership. For example, the health insurance giant Aetna has reported that it paid $100,000 in annual dues to the Chamber in the past. But for specific advocacy or advertising campaigns, corporations can hide behind the label of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and give additional money. Last year, alongside their regular dues, health insurance companies like Aetna secretly funneled up to $20 million to the Chamber for attack ads aimed at killing health reform (publicly, health insurance executives claimed they supported reform). Last week, Politico reported that News Corporation, the parent company of Fox News, gave an extra $1 million to the Chamber for its election season attack campaign.

There are many reasons foreign corporations are seeking to defeat Democratic candidates this November. The Chamber has repeatedly sent out issue alerts attacking Democratic efforts to encourage businesses to hire locally rather than outsource to foreign counties. The Chamber has also bitterly fought Democrats for opposing unfettered free trade deals. To galvanize foreign businesses, the Chamber has commissioned former Ambassador Frank Lavin — who served as the McCain-Palin Asia campaign director and has appeared on television multiple times recently saying a Democratic Congress is bad for business — to speak before various foreign Chamber affiliates to talk about the stakes for the 2010 midterm elections.

Because campaign finance laws prohibit foreign entities from contributing to political races here in America, we asked the Chamber to defend the legality of its fundraising operation. We have yet to receive a response. But as word of our investigation began to leak out yesterday, the Chamber informed Politico’s Mike Allen that it is now “preparing a response.”

UPDATE The US Chamber of Commerce has responded to this post in a statement to the Politico's Ben Smith. The Chamber's Tita Freeman did not dispute that the Chamber's 501(c)(6) organization running attack ads receives foreign funds, and simply claimed, "We have a system in place" to prevent foreign funding for the Chamber's "political activities."

Note: the use of foreign money to endorse specific candidates is illegal but foreign donations to the American Chamber of Commerce for other reasons is not, my question is, how can we know for sure? When the American Chamber of Commerce is endorsing the Republican party under the guise of being pro-commerce, they should then explain why so many foreign companies are hiring workers overseas instead of investing money in the United States.

Fair and Balanced has become Fictional and Biased

Most every reliable news source has reported that News Corps, the organization that owns Fox News donated 1 million dollars to the Republican Governors Association and that the RGA has raised over 58 million dollars through corporate donations. News Corps, in their lack of caring whether they appear fair and balanced or not, didn't donate a penny to the Democratic Party. Corporate America is taking over the states we live in. Anyone who doesn't see this as a monopoly of power overstepping their bounds in American politics is hiding their head in the sand. The power of the foreign industries has overshadowed what Fox and News Corps has done by far.
On top of this the American Chamber of Commerce is being funded to fund ad campaigns for the Republican party and the financing is coming from several foreign sources.
the Pittsburgh Post Gazette stated that the Chamber of Commerce firmly denies this.
"...Chamber denies aid has foreign influence
Friday, October 08, 2010
By David Lightman and Kevin G. Hall, McClatchy Newspapers
WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is pumping as much as $75 million into this year's election campaigns, mostly for Republicans, and its muscular spending is becoming controversial.

Some liberal activists and Democrats allege that some of the money the chamber is spending comes from illegal foreign donations -- a charge that the chamber flatly denies, but one that is gaining traction.

Rep. Tom Perriello, D-Va., a self-described chamber target in an uphill battle for re-election, this week called the foreign funds reports "beyond outrageous, to being fundamentally un-American and undemocratic."

In Pennsylvania, Democratic Senate candidate Joe Sestak on Thursday blasted his GOP rival, Pat Toomey, saying, "In violation of U.S. election law, Toomey's foreign corporation allies are now spending millions to launch attack ads aimed at distorting [my] record."

Even Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine joined the chorus. "It's time the Chamber of Commerce answered a very basic question: Since when do they believe that large undisclosed corporate interests and companies in China, Russia and the Middle East should help choose America's leaders?" he asked. "Our country was founded on the belief that the American people -- and no one else -- should have the right to decide our country's future."

Foreign corporations and foreign nationals are barred from giving directly or indirectly to any U.S. campaigns. U.S.-based subsidiaries of foreign corporations are allowed to actively contribute -- and do.

The group has called upon the Internal Revenue Service to audit the chamber and requested that the Justice Department investigate potential election fraud. Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., wants the Federal Election Commission to look into the reports.

At a small protest Thursday afternoon outside the chamber's Washington headquarters, liberal groups carried signs that read, "Foreign Corporations OUT of U.S. Elections," and "Chamber + Foreign $$$ = Stolen Elections."

In an interview, chamber Executive Vice President Bruce Josten called allegations of illegal foreign contributions baseless.

American Chambers of Commerce abroad are formed to represent U.S. companies in a given foreign country. About 115 AmCham affiliates collectively contribute about $100,000 to the U.S. Chamber's general fund. This $100,000 is spent on international programs, not U.S. political campaigns, Mr. Josten said.

Critics have noted, however, that money is fungible and accounts are easily mixed.

"This is ridiculous. It is nominal dues payments to us, because the issues of concern to them here [in the United States] are few and far between," Mr. Josten said.

The chamber, he said, plans to raise and spend $50 million to $75 million on issue ads. That is more than double the $33.5 million it spent in the 2008 election cycle. The chamber has spent $17 million so far this election cycle, according to reports filed at the Federal Election Commission.

Let's Be Serious

I just looked back at some things when talking about interracial relationships. I love the way black women look. I am a white man. This is a problem for some people. Here is the whole story, I have been living with and been a part of white racism towards black people for decades by not being aware of how racist alot of things were. I look back and think "Well, that is how things were back then", but even though they were, it doesn't make it right. To those of you who aren't old enough to remember what that was like, Check this out:

I didn't realize at the time that I was watching these stereotypical things as a child, but looking back on it, I must have been.

Another Solution

I am sending the link to this URL to the president and the whitehouse staff at so they can read the whole thing as the website doesn't allow for over 2500 characters and this needs to come to their attention.

President Obama,I received this today and thought you could be "The One" to start dialogue and begin looking at ethical fairness in congress. Thank you for at least reading it.
This was forwarded to me and I think it makes sense, thanks.

"...I wonder if we all send this to at least 5 people if we can start a fire that will wake the fools on the hill up to who they work for. I think it is worth a shot and that is why I am sending this to you. Please send it on. I sent this to virtually everybody on my e-mail list and that includes conservatives, liberals, and everybody in between. Even though we may disagree on a number of issues, I count all of you as friends.. My friend and neighbor wants to promote a "Congressional Reform Act of 2010". It would contain eight provisions, all of which would probably be strongly endorsed by those who drafted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
I know many of you will say, "this is impossible". Let me remind you, Congress has the lowest approval of any entity in Government, now is the time when Americans will join together to reform Congress - the entity that represents us.
We need to get a Senator to introduce this bill in the US Senate and a Representative to introduce a similar bill in the US House. These people will become American hero's..
Thanks,A Fellow American
.Congressional Reform Act of 2010
1. Term Limits: 12 years only, one of the possible options below.
A. Two Six year Senate terms
B. Six Two year House terms
C. One Six year Senate term and three Two Year House terms
(Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work.)
2. No Tenure / No Pension:
A congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.
(Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work.)(this is repeated, although I deleted the rest to save space)
3. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security:
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund moves to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, Congress participates with the American people.
4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan just as all Americans.
5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
6. Congress looses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
7. Congress must equally abide in all laws they impose on the American people.
8. All contracts with past and present congressmen are void effective 1/1/11.
The American people did not make this contract with congressmen, congressmen made all these contracts for themselves."
Thank You for your consideration of this matter.

That is all I hear out of people like John McCain. The stupid people of this world want more of what is kicking their own asses. Why did Arizona vote for John McCain again? Because J.D. Hayworth is more conservative nutjob wise than John McCain. I find that hard to believe but it's true. John McCain was made to admit that there were not enough regulations in banking and Wall Street although he and people like him scream for MORE DEREGULATION. Here is the plain truth. There are two kinds of people in this world. Those who give and those who take. The takers are stricken with unlimited greed. Some people find that as a good thing for a while. It motivates industries to become giants. It motivates banking institutions to make more money for their clients. But NOW they have turned it AGAINST THEIR CLIENTS, INSTEAD. So, tomorrow when you get up, decide why you ever wanted a greedy person in charge of your life, your country, and your economy. If you decide it only worked for a few minutes, then realize that it was only a delusion or an illusion that made you think that. Get on with the business of caring and compassion and vote for someone who cares about you, and who you care about, not someone who gives you the same old same old stories.

Looks Like Someone Was Paying Attention

A friend of mine, who used to be one of my English Professors, in a class I took entitled, "Critical and Evaluative Reading", where we learned to investigate what the author wrote for political speeches, short stories, etc. and learn what the meaning was behind what they said in print, wrote me an email. I made the statement/rhetorical question, "I don't know why but it would seem that after two months of attacking someone for the wrong reason, they would get bored with being exposed as wrong."

I included this clip from "The Daily Show" with Jon Stewart:
(I wish to preface this with the explanation that this professor was, when I met him, a quite conservative Christian. All that has changed, because like most people who were Republicans decades ago, he and I both have seen the Majority of the Republican party change from "the party of REASON" to what it has become today. Also, the Christian Church has somehow sold out to the radical extremist Republicans. The clip below shows an example of that. Please click on the arrow to watch it.)

If you for some reason can't view the video here, please try the link below.

His reply to me was this:
Stephen Lucas to me

"No, they never get bored because they want to return to power. The only way to do this is to appeal to "fear". If I can scare you, I don't have to deal in facts. If I can give you a "scape goat" then you have some one to blame your problem on and hate. We know this is an old formula. The Dems should take a small page from the play book and simply say "if you want more war and more debt---- vote Republican." "If you want to pay higher taxes because the rich get the tax break--- vote Republican." "If you want to be controlled by the corporations like BP--- then vote Republican." "If you want a National Socialist government run by the corporations and lobbiests, then vote Republican." The Dems should be screaming this from every roof top. The economy sucks because of the cost of Bush's Republican Wars.

Yup---- the truth sure hurts.

The Have-Nots Versus The Haves

The HAVE NOTS Mission Statement:
We who are sick of the tea baggers who lobby for Glenn Beck and Fox News, who don't realize what they are doing and those who do and don't care so do it anyway, have succeeded in doing one thing. They taught us all that if you go make a fool of yourself by driving to a rally, carrying signs, standing around yelling, that whether you have a point or not, you get public Media Attention.
Honesty in Journalism:
Isn't that what we need to get the attention of congressmen? The flaw that most of them don't seem to understand is that it works like this. Rich people like Rupert Murdoch don't need a tax break, they need to be fined by the FCC for LYING all the time and calling it news. He admitted recently that he is just entertainment not real news.
Those who follow Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin around remind me of a disk jockey from the seventies, Jonathan Brandmire in Phoenix, whose followers called themselves, as his rallies decried, his LOONS. Brandmire would ask people over the air on KZZP radio to go a certain intersection, street rally, department store, etc. and they would all show up. Sometimes as many as 2 to 3 thousand at a time. He staged a Jerry Mathers (from the "Leave it to Beaver" Show)day at the Pointe Resort once and convinced Jerry Mathers to try to go back into television, since he had such a great following of Beaver fans. The loons were instructed to act like they loved him. We all know how that worked out for Jerry Mathers.
The tea baggers are Glenn Beck's Loons. The Have Nots need their own version of the same thing to represent those of us who AREN'T Rupert Murdoch.

Voting and Elections:
We need term limits, abolition of lobbying pay, responsibility laws, and for God's Sake we need to return to Paper Ballots.

Term Limits:
Being elected to congress has almost become a lifelong occupation. People who are desperate to stay in congress and who have been there for the past twenty years when all the problems started and continue to happen, then we don't care what party you are a member of, YOU NEED TO GO, NOW ! If you can't prove you voted against all the things that turned our country into a financial implosion repeatedly since Reagan and beyond, then you need to be accountable and if you voted the wrong way, YOU NEED TO GO, NOW!

Paper Ballots:
We also need to return to using paper ballots in all elections in every state, since , former CEO of Cybrinth Security, Stephen Spoonamore, exposed the Diebold company and their voting machines. He stated that they were, in his opinion hacked in many elections, and had no security set up at all (and was mysteriously killed in a plane accident after he did that), we know that any other method will NOT be secure. (See Velvet Revolver interviews with Stephen Spoonamore, the cyber security expert for the National Super Computing Association snd NCSA Mosaic). Watch the whole series, I think there are eight videos, each one is sure to make you madder than the last one when you realize how our elections are still getting hacked.

Abolition of Lobbying Pay:
Lobbyists should not be outlawed but being paid for being a lobbyist should be a federal felony. If you want to talk to congress on your own dollar, fine, but those who make a living out of bribing congressmen to screw the public and lie about it, should be illegal.

Congressmen Responsibility laws:
If someone lies at any other job they get fired. (Except for News anchors, it seems, but...) Congressmen should be held to the same standards. That includes during a campaign. If they are caught lying to the public in a written or public anouncment statement, including during an election or re election campaign, then, they should be immediately reported and recalled.

Religious Responsibility:
It is illegal for any church or non profit organization to campaign or suggest, advertise, or coerce by any means their congregation members or others to any political policy, law, or candidate. They should be recorded and reported to the I.R.S. when a clergyman or other person who is employed by a non profit organization so that they will lose their non-profit status under the Internal Revenue Laws. See Internal Revenue Code, all section 501(c)(3)at,,id=154712,00.html

The Federal Reserve:
The Federal Reserve should be completely transparent to the Public and be referred to by what they really are, a private banking organization because they are not any more a part of our government than Federal Express is, but they keep the myth alive that they work for Uncle Sam. That is not so, and if you have been believing that for years, it shows that even a high school economics student understands our money system better than you do. The Federal Reserve makes money off of creating our money but they are all "speculators" not economists. They don't even understand economics, but they rely on politicians to warn them about "inflationary trends" that have been proven WRONG over and over again. I want to know when we are going to get some real economists working for our government that regulate the banks and the Federal Reserve because those people keep blowing everything up and expecting you and I to fix it. During the Clinton Administration the Fed said they desperately needed to curb inflation by raising interest rates, and President Clinton forbid them to, the trend they said was going to cause inflation "never happened". Even Oprah Winfrey exposed this, she had some of them on her show and made them admit they were only speculating and had no real economic basis for their prediction. (Do you think they just wanted more money?) Do you know what they do? When we start getting a little ahead, they immediately raise interest rates to drag us back down again because they can't have too many people getting ahead, that would make the elite feel less special.
Example, when we started having two working adults in most middle class families, and women moved into the work force because Gloria Steinem told them they had the right. All of a sudden, they had more money, well the banks and greedy entrepreneurs immediately doubled interest rates and the prices on everything.
Those of us who have studied about the United States Economy know that was a prediction they made purely to line their own pockets. Their function is to keep the rich rich and the rest of us either poor or struggling to support the rich. They need a complete overhauling and restructuring or else be fired from any government connection and be replaced by a new board of fair banking practices.
There needs to be a lower cap on interest rates beyond what the financial restructuring for banking did under the Obama administration and all of the rules for payment of credit need to be retroactively changed. Those who are still on old style credit payments, and have been actively paying for years, need to have their cases reviewed and those who would have already made their payments without the rate hike that banks starting demanding by merely "changing their contract" (which is illegal unless both parties agree to a change, we might as well have received the notice of the rate hike in the mail and sent the bank back a letter saying that we changed our policy on paying and were lowering our interest rate to three percent, effectively starting at the beginning of bank business on the first of the month. One can't legally change a contract by merely sending you a letter.), need to have their cases reviewed to see if, without the massive extra interest payments, and if they would have already payed their debt without the ballooning interest then, the debt be at least restructured and in some cases their debt ended. Those who were told that they had no choice but to agree to a massive payment, need to be relieved of the massive increased interest rates like everyone else that applies for a loan today.

The Electoral College:
The entire Electoral College was created in order to keep states who some of our politicians did not think were intelligent enough to have a say in politics, so they wouldn't have a fair share of votes, in certain states. Also, the electoral college delegates DON'T HAVE TO VOTE THE WAY WE TELL THEM TO, which makes them a real source of corrupt bribe-able clowns who can do some real damage in election campaigns. If they don't have to vote the way their constituents voted, what the hell good are they???? Get rid of that clown college first. Then if the campaign is up to all of us (the popular vote is usually the opposite of the electoral college vote) instead of a few states, then, the politicians will HAVE TO DO SOMETHING instead of lie to a few people in ten main states, and not get caught until after the election. This way they find the popular opinion of a few people in the key states and play to the crowd, whether they really share their opinion or not.
Think about it, if the Electoral College says your state is too stupid to vote, then your vote might not count. WTF? The electoral college calculator per state is at You might want to check it out and know that if your state has under ten votes, you are considered a bunch of ignorant people who don't deserve a real vote.
Anyone can share as many suggestions for what real solutions we feel that our country needs. Remember, the president has limited power, quit blaming him for what congress does, he can only scold them publicly which in some cases recently made NO DIFFERENCE at all, which should obvious to all of us by now.

My Letter To A Friend

The Original Tea Party Movement 1998

Hi (anonymous name here);
I truly believe this has been going on for a while. The whole idea that someone who is a media figure can speak for a whole movement of grassroots beginnings is a real scary idea. The fact that no matter what people do (And I include the bloggers, who according to the media themselves during the last election, turned the tide of people's opinion. Those of us who actually did the fact checking, voting record research, statements matching profiles, etc.)
I personally was feeding statistics I could find and the whole "John McCain's Houses" thing, the Keating 5 scandal, and the McCain Naval History / Jet Crash Record, and the "John McCain dumped his wife to marry someone he had an affair with" real stories to the Obama election campaign people and the media and NO ONE USED half of what I said, because, unfortunately, we decided to keep it a fair fight. I can tell you my high school football coach would have never done that. The good thing that resulted from it, though was that Obama's campaign people weren't found to be LYING about anything but McCain / Palin were telling at least 21 per day average. (That is an actual statistic collected by the fact checkers from Media Matters.)
I know you heard the whole Sarah Palin Mama Grizzlies thing, you know she tried to hijack the message and make it sound like Mama Grizzlies were Pro Life by saying they stated they were protective / defensive of their cubs.
Here is what they said about her message:

Everything she has said has been the opposite of either her personal actions or the facts in history like when she said John McCain has always been FOR regulation which even he admitted completely wrong. Fox News likes to show the tea baggers rallies but they don't show you this part:

I think the whole Ron Paul / Conservative Libertarian thing was part of the beginning of the end for liberals, if we allow it to continue. Ron Paul, per Wikipedia, has a more conservative voting record than any Republican in congress or for that matter ANY OTHER CONGRESSMAN. He is a conservative crackpot that thinks NO RULES would work in America as it is right now. The guys who broke or bent all the rules want to have NO RULES and that is scary because nut cases like Rand and Ron Paul want exactly that, on top of the stupidest non-working financial policies that I have ever seen. He wants to get rid of the I.R.S. and Federal Income Tax (Can you imagine if the individual states like for instance Florida was in charge of their own system?) and the Federal Reserve. I support these but it will take forever to implement them and that can't happen during a financial downturn. Here is some more of his politicizing rhetoric that has already been proven wrong by our troop return from Iraq first, then Afghanistan, and deployment INTO Pakistan.

This shows him talking out of his a** again accusing everyone else for what he and his Republican buddies instituted. He got owned in this video. The Muja Adim were NOT THE TALIBAN but he infers that since they were from Afghanistan, they were the same thing.
As Ron Paul himself pointed out earlier we were not attacked by Afghanistan or Iraq on 9/11, but on that day no one knew that, including Ron Paul. But he helped perpetuate the rumors that got us into Afghanistan in the first place. His voting record.

And the Wikipedia version of the truth by his critics:

Socialism B.S. screamed by the teabaggers:
Arizona and Alaska receive more federal money for roads, subsidies, etc. than half of the other states combined and John McCain lies and says he doesn't get "earmarks". He gets plenty of them but for his own agenda. So, guess where our No Earmarks Republican Candidates came from last election? Arizona and Alaska, of course. People are screaming about socialism when they don't realize EVERY road, street light, stop sign, etc. along with the police and fire departments are paid for by government. Intervention in our lives is something we have voted for and demanded and the teabaggers won't admit it. (I refuse to let them take over the tea party movement , gun control activists, that had nothing to do with this FAUX NEWS movement) and I believe the whole name change thing was also in the game plan, if you agree, call them what they were, the teabagger movement. They SAY they changed the name (It actually is a nickname for (the urban dictionary statement):

To insert one's hairy balls into the mouth of what is occasionally a member of the opposite sex, sometimes, if the person is gay, they will insert it into someone of the same sex.

Petey teabagged Veronica so bad, she choked and died on his peubic hair.

when Rachell Maddow and Ana Marie Cox exposed what that meant by snickering about it on the news. Now that you know what it meant, that makes this more understandable that a gay woman found so hilarious. When you listen to the statements it is pretty funny.
to the tea party movement because they didn't realize that was a really bad connotated message referring to homosexual reference to something most people knew, and that they were too out of touch to understand previous to signing off their name in public media representation. The interesting thing to me is that they are asking in this interview whether Republicans and the tea baggers are separating. That is a point that most Republican conservatives miss and another issue that Fox News is trying to camouflage. My main point in all of this is that FAUX NEWS, as Denise so appropriately nicknamed them, is trying to, as you put it, "muddy the waters", on everything. If they can't take over the message they will confuse it. As Aldous Huxley stated in the book, "Brave New World" which they used in the introduction for the movie version, "He who controls information, controls the world." And unfortunately that guy is the one Jon Stewart called a "2 legged basset hound". Rupert Murdoch, of course, the Tabloid King who is now half owned by the same Saudi (Muslim) Arab royal, Alwaleed bin Talal, who also was part of the whole "Bush Family Arab Connection".

When it comes to Martin Luther King, like Al Sharpton said, if you are only middle aged (between forty and forty five), you don't even remember what happened because you weren't alive then. Those of us who were alive and old enough to remember (I was in grammar school) should all scream from the rooftops (extreme exaggeration statement) or the actual equivalent, go online to as many sites as possible, make ourselves known as having been a real American who really lived through the civil rights movement and demand an apology from Glen "the phony civil rights activist" Beck.

My own saying that all liberals in this environment should adopt:
"Preponderance of a lie doesn't make it the truth." I need a t-shirt with that on it and it should be worn by all liberals at the next pre-election ceremony.

Taking Back Has Been Carried Way Too Far

Everytime I read a news article about any group, left or right leaning, the statement made lately is that the group is somehow "Taking Back" something that they never really lost. What has been actually happening is that they have been "redefining" too many things for too long. I used to be really open minded to "grey areas" but I realise now that is all semantics and is actually a smoke screen used to disguise the fact that people don't want to be seen as what they actually are. E.G. Conservative Libertarians. The word Libertarian comes from the root meaning liberty which means liberal freedom. Liberal means open minded to change and conservative means the opposite. The obstructionists in congress lately have proven that.
You can't have a conservative libertarian any more than you can have a reptillian gopher. One of them is a reptile and one a vermin, they can't be the same. What it is doing is trying to take credit for being one thing while actually being the other.
I used to think we all needed to come together but I realize now that is a wishy washy idealistic dream presented by idealists who should already know that by now that it has never worked.
I am aware now that we have to pick a side and stick to it. Are you a fear based conservative afraid of America changing from the old West thinking or are you a liberal who is trying to change things to progress as life progresses?
OK, let's talk about facts, the ideas I wish to explain are:
a) "In any true fact finding mission, if change is necessary it will come from a need.
b) If there is a problem with the system, based on unfairness to the whole body of humans, when the majority get almost nothing so that a few others get the rest, that is a problem.
1) The first thing we do is establish a need for change, then we find all the facts.
2) Then we develop theories on what to do as a solution, we test each theory first in theory as a dialogue, then as a workable solution with steps defined, then in actual practice in a small subsection of the population.
3) When facts do not match a theory, we must change the theory because facts do not change.
Fox News has recently started a campaign of confusion. They aren't able to prevent a liberal message, so they think they can try to hijack it by using the names of all liberal social movements and change it within the confines of their own fake branch of these movements and they think they can re-shape or subvert other messages and claim them their own cause.

Don't believe me?
Sarah Palin tried to take the steam out of the Mama Grizzlies by claiming she is one, then delivered a message for them stating that they are Pro-Life. They aren't, they are Pro-Choice and they were started by a group called Emily's List, let me show you what they had to say:

Glen Beck is trying to speak for the whole "Civil Rights" movement by saying that Black People don't own Martin Luther King. King was part of the civil rights movement that was about getting jobs and freedom and equal treatment for black people. Glen Beck wasn't even born then. They never said that they owned Martin Luther King, but he owned the message of his people and faced challenges and threats, including losing his own life for what he believed in. Black people in the United States followed what he said, faced the same hardships and dangers, and Glen Beck NEVER HAS.

Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered the "I have a dream..." speech on August 28th,1963 at the Lincoln Memorial, Washington D.C.

Glen Beck was born, February 10th, 1964, over a year later, but listen to what he has to say about the Civil Rights Movement, and ask yourself what he is inferring here and listen to what Al Sharpton says in reply:

Also, here is Cenk Uygur, host of The Young Turks, filling in for Ed Schultz on the MSNBC Ed Show telling us what he thinks.

Does Glen Beck Speak for the Civil Rights Movement? He wasn't even alive during the "I have a dream..." speech, how is he able to even insinuate that he was? The whole thing was mostly ALL about civil rights for black people and he knows that. His obvious attempt to play stupid and naiive on this shows he is a contemptable person.

Sarah Palin and Glen Beck are trying to confuse the actual message of the people who were and insert their own message as if they were members of these groups. They want to try to act like they are the representitives and speak for these groups. If they aren't exposed and stopped soon, America might lose it's way altogether by giving up.

My personal opinion can be seen in this message:
