The American News Trolls

You probably have a good idea from the title, exactly what I am talking about. News Trolls. They are given the name synonymous with the act of trolling in a boat dangling bait on a hook behind the boat in the water because fast moving fish that strike at anything that moves, like bass for example, will take the bait and get caught by the person who is "trolling". If you look at the definition online (I know I am repeating myself here, but Rachel Maddow finally said the same thing on her show recently.)
An "Internet Troll" is someone who (according to Wikipedia:) "... posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion."
And now, as I said before, A NEWS TROLL is someone who says things just to get attention, make you angry, make you write about them, make you fearful, make you buy their books just to see what crazy notion they come up with next and you believe it, buy it, and that is the whole idea behind FOX NEWS, Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, and Ann Coulter. They sell half their books to people who buy them just to call them disgusting.
This is what Rachel Maddow said about it:

And the point is just what we learned to do with Trolls on the internet: "Don't feed the trolls, if you ignore them, they will go away." (My original response long ago on YouTube below.)
