Hey America! The Lifeboats Are Over Here!

Today, our political spectrum is varied and divided because there is too much openly ignorant lying and propaganda going both ways. I feel like I am drowning in bullshit and need a relief. Someone throw me something besides another opinionated anchor! I don't care which color you are (red or blue) or which ideology you serve (regressive or progressive), I just want some relief. To those of you who feel the same way, I have some good news. I hasten to add that doesn't include you mentally lazy assholes that say you don't care about or don't wish to get involved in the "political aspect" of things, because you need to take a side to survive or you are part of the problem. I write this today filled with a depression and tense awareness that our country is going to shit, so there is no time to sit on your laurels and hope this passes by without you because while you do that, your freedoms, future, and the future of your children and grandchildren are being hijacked and sold to the highest bidder, and this isn't the future, it's happening now. So, to you who are lazy or confused, or those who think it is all too confusing and those who find discussions of sums larger than ten dollars or math too annoyingly complicated - or to those whom facts seem to annoy you, I have an answer. I am offering you a place on the lifeboat that I found and climbed aboard.
We have people in congress who are the same people who are destroying our country on the stock market, banking, and business, which is a HUGE conflict of interest but we would have to have congress make laws that restrict themselves from profiting on being a legislator and they will not do that because the people in congress right now are the elite whom many should get to know more about.
First of all, let me say that the people on the right who call everything either conservative or liberal are full of crap. The fact is that center, which is reality and has to do with facts, not opinion, is not "Liberal". Liberal is defined at dictionary.com as: "...
lib·er·al [lib-er-uhl, lib-ruhl]
adjective
1. favorable to progress or reform, as in political or religious affairs.
2. ( often initial capital letter ) noting or pertaining to a political party
advocating measures of progressive political reform.
3. of, pertaining to, based on, or advocating liberalism, especially the freedom of the individual and governmental guarantees of individual rights and liberties.
4. favorable to or in accord with concepts of maximum individual freedom possible, especially as guaranteed by law and secured by governmental protection of civil liberties.
5. favoring or permitting freedom of action, especially with respect to matters of personal belief or expression: a liberal policy toward dissident artists and writers. ..."
I am NOT liberal because liberals believe things based on opinion that conflicts with reality and that they are capable of deciding which laws are incorrect and that because one of my favorite authors, Henry David Thoreau, wrote "Civil Disobedience" when our country was still being founded and slavery was acceptable still in New England, while protesting slavery by becoming the first tax strike activist in Massachusetts, that it is the same as illegal aliens invading the United States and becoming an economic burden on our already burdened population and unemployment problems.
To a liberal, somehow the opinion that breaking the law, based on the excuse that Thoreau did it, brazenly, openly, publicly and accepting the full consequence of his actions, surrendering himself to prison for not paying his taxes, is somehow the same thing as people from a foreign land escaping into our country with no background information or documentation, and hiding out, stealing the identification of U.S. Citizens, knowing full well they are breaking several laws in doing so, but because Thoreau called his fully responsible protest "Civil Disobedience", that it makes it correct to just break the law and face consequences, only if you get caught.
NO, if you don't like the law, change the law. If the people you voted for don't change the law, vote for different people. That's reality.
Libertarians, whom I think should be more defined under the term "Wild West style anarchists", aren't living in reality. They think that freedom to do whatever you want, leaving ethics up to the individual will work. That is stupid and wrong. First, no matter how much you agree, facts are facts. People can be greedy, dishonest, and wrong. The fact that they seem to ignore is "laws are created for a reason" and ignoring them or complaining about them doesn't make ethical standards a human quality. I don't mean any one group, although regressives seem hell bent on the idea that selfishness is reality. If you want to know what being a really nice person is, you don't have to read a book, you don't have to go to therapy, you don't have to look to religious or political leaders or spokesmen, you just have to look in the mirror (literally), look yourself in the face (literally), and ask yourself one question: "Honestly (that part is of ultimate importance), how do I want to be treated?".
The next step is only slightly more imaginative, you have to know that you are a human being like other human beings and that you deserve respect as such. The next step is to understand that every other human being on earth deserves the same respect, no matter what you think of his personal beliefs. When we all can treat each other that way, life will be simple. The problem is the people who use ideologies (religious and political OPINION, which aren't valid) to excuse hatred and discrimination. They are around, sometimes they are the same people we think are trying to "save us". They always use the same excuse. They begin to become full of their own ego and demand that they are "The right kind of" person, so it is okay for them to be, somehow, MORE necessary than you are. Spoiler alert, "That is NOT EQUALITY"!
Also, calling yourself conservative doesn't mean anything. The definition of conservative according to dictionary.com is "...
con·serv·a·tive [kuhn-sur-vuh-tiv]
adjective
1. disposed to preserve existing conditions, institutions, etc., or to restore traditional ones, and to limit change.
2. cautiously moderate or purposefully low: a conservative estimate.
3. traditional in style or manner; avoiding novelty or showiness: conservative suit.
4. ( often initial capital letter ) of or pertaining to the Conservative party.
5. ( initial capital letter ) of, pertaining to, or characteristic of Conservative Jews or Conservative Judaism. ..."
(And if you are confused, the first, fourth, and fifth definition are what we are talking about here, not style or estimates.) But many now are calling themselves "conservative" to excuse what they really are. I will explain:
  1. If you don't care about anyone's rights but our own, you aren't conservative, you are a selfish asshole.
  2. If you think you are better than other people (for any reason, your financial status, your skin color, your religion, or any other ideology) then, you are a conceited asshole, that has NOTHING TO DO WITH conservatism.
  3. If you say that you are a devout Catholic or other Christian bible type religion (I don't use the word "faith" because that isn't religion, although religious leaders would like you to "follow" that thinking as members of their FLOCK which we all know means they consider you SHEEP that are too stupid to do anything but follow, and that thinking dates back to the time of the establishment of religions.) and that you are also a Libertarian or a follower of Ayn Rand, then those opposing ideologies show that you are NOT CONSERVATIVE, you are just too stupid to know that you made a fool of yourself by saying that.
  4. If you think going to church every week at a specific faith and tithing and singing hymns and saying prayers, while not following the edicts preached in your religious texts (the bible, koran, torah, etc.) makes you a conservative, then you are seriously brainwashed by an agenda (like thinking that standing in the garage drinking oil and water and pouring gas in your ass makes you a car) that has nothing to do with actual religion or politics, but is an authoritarian rule that has been created in trying to take over the American society for ages.
  5. If you believe in the regressive ideas formulated by some religious texts about the hierarchy of man, then you are NOT a conservative, you are an ignorant sheep and I see why you get led around by the nose, because you do follow. The idea is that "church is over man, man is over woman, rich men are over poor men, people of color don't count as people, and humans count but animals, birds, fish, reptiles, trees, and plants don't count as important or relevant", then you are NOT a conservative, you are a stupid person who doesn't understand how the earth and the living things on it - all works DEPENDENTLY on each other.
  6. If you are expecting someday for trickle down economics to work, after John McCain actually came out and said, "We need to stop trying the same old economic processes, hoping that someday we get lucky.", then, you aren't a conservative, you are the definition of insane. According to Albert Einstein, insanity is "Doing the same thing repeatedly, each time expecting a different result." It isn't going to turn out different someday, you will just finally, someday, give up waiting for a miracle. You might as well be still expecting Y2K to happen.
  7. If you actually believe that trying to preserve existing conditions (from the above from dictionary.com) while trying to say that an ignorant hoax of an ideology is a good idea, then you are ignorant and regressive, not conservative.
  8. And last, if you are under the impression that everyone needs to be as stupid and have the same constipated thinking you do ("President Obama wants everyone to go to college. What a snob!", stated by Rick Santorum who himself has at least 3 college degrees.) and/or think that critical thinking is "evil" or wrong in anyway, then you are not conservative, you are encouraging a nation of stupid ill informed morons.
If you are a politician encouraging people to cling to religious bronze age mythology and ignore science, then you are trying to deny reality and cling to ignorance. It may be easier to get people who follow like sheep to vote for you based on lies, ignorance, and fear but that will come back to bite you in the ass later on. Wanting the voting public to be ill informed swings back around and snaps back at the people who willfully destroy their own credibility.

Calling an old idea that never worked a "discarded plan" is ill informed and ignorant. In fact I am going to, for those of you who are offended by being called ignorant, going to post the definition of that word and it's root meaning.

ig·no·rant [ig-ner-uhnt]
adjective
1. lacking in knowledge or training; unlearned: an ignorant man.
2. lacking knowledge or information as to a particular subject or fact: ignorant of quantum physics.
3. uninformed; unaware.
4. due to or showing lack of knowledge or training: an ignorant statement.
Origin:
1325–75; Middle English ignora ( u ) nt < Latin ignōrant- (stem of ignōrāns ),present participle of ignōrāre to ignore; see -ant

As you can see this means that one has to ignore facts and truth to be ignorant. That also means the willfully ignoring facts and truth, not just because you are not aware that those facts and truth exist because, for example, you live under a rock OR you could watch News Trolls http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=news%20troll and Political Trolls http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=political+troll instead of reading and studying what the facts are.

Under a rock, you are ignorant.

Immersed in the Troll bubble, then, you are willfully ignorant and IGNORING REALITY. That doesn't make you a mature responsible conservative like Barry Goldwater or William F. Buckley, that instead puts you in the same category as this person, on all levels:

Hoping for Sanity from the New Pope

(This article was originally posted on the Arizona Mildman Facebook page at And so, today I am in conflict with the fact that the world is overpopulated and that there is actually a supposed scientist telling people that the world is NOT over populated and that if we are standing right next to each other because we cut down all the trees and trampled down all the vegetation (Both of which produce oxygen, by the way, which he seems to forget in his geometric estimates of how much "living space" there is and that we can use up every inch of the space on earth.) that we we all be just fine. He seems to excuse the fact that we are running out of oxygen, vegetation, money, resources, clean water, clean air, and other resources like capacity to feed everyone and provide healthcare as if they are NOT relevant to the argument as long as the earth is "strong enough" to hold everyone, as if it were a matter of the earth being like an elevator that we were worried might be filled over capacity and would fall from it's cabled supports. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/09/14/opinion/overpopulation-is-not-the-problem.html?_r=0

And THEN, there is the matter of the people. I have for years said that the use of birth control (in lieu of abstinence only and rhythm methodology, which never seem to work, ask the many Catholic and Mormon women) and abortion (the removal of a fetus of the human kind, which seems to be a moral and "religious" problem, despite the fact that no religion has proof of religious text that supports this) because LONG AGO, we had estimated (most of you don't remember what the predictions were in the 50s and 60s) how many people would stretch the world food and money supply too thin. As well as the greedy people in the one percent in America that think that everyone in the fifties and sixties that helped provide for the less fortunate (poor, sick, old, and disabled) were stupid for helping because it causes them to be dependent on the wealthy.
I was angry with the previous popes for actually causing a worse AIDs problem by saying that condom use, even in the case of HIV, was part of the AIDs problem, instead of the solution (that doctors and scientists told us for years). But, there is a new sherriff in town and he has changed the game plan on many levels. One of the first is, the use of contraceptives is permitted for defense against disease, but not prevention of birth. SO, that means what you intend at the time is what matters to him: http://abcnews.go.com/ABC_Univision/News/popes-condom-views-impact-aids-work/story?id=18723310

My Latest Email To John McCain

I know you said you have to have someone help you with your email so you probably aren't the one reading this, so who ever you are, show him this graphic comment on Facebook, please : http://www.classwarfareexists.com/the-thirteen-countries-that-john-mccain-has-been-eager-to-bomb-invade-or-destabilize/ When the whole world sees through your supposed reasoning to bomb ANYWHERE there are oil reserves, we don't believe anymore that you have anything more than commercial interests, so stop lying and trying to call it "FREEDOM" because most of the civilized world (most of it outside the Southern United States type thinking with their hate rage) already has universal healthcare, a better economic model, and an economy that is growing without Wall Street thieving liars. War and Wall Street seems to be your economic model and as of recently, anyone who actually has graduated from high school and owns a computer has read that Australia's minimum wage is 16 dollars an hour and has dodged the economic downturn "Your FRIENDS" in the United States created. They are no one's friend and they are stricken with unlimited greed, the main problem in the United States right now. Oh, and the person who reads this to Senator McCain should let him know that we all have watched the YouTube video of General Wesley Clark talking about the seven countries you wanted to invade in 5 years. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TY2DKzastu8 That isn't democracy, that is imperialism. The American people are tired of the nonsense you people come up with to excuse your childish ranting about spreading anything but money into your pocket. Stop lying it just makes you look stupid. Oh, and about your buddy, Mitch McConnell blocking any progress of anything, including jobs returning to the United states from China, because of his wife, you should also look and see who he is married to. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2010/12/05/925858/-How-Mitch-McConnell-became-very-rich It is common knowledge who his wife is, the daughter of a rich Chinese industrialist who pays his people slave wages and makes billions of dollars making them work in unsafe conditions. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elaine_Chao The only difference between you and him is your rich wife's interests are at least partly in the United States so your spending helps our economy, but other than that, you endorse sick twisted liars like Paul Ryan. Ryan says he is a devout catholic but then endorses the famous atheist fiction writer, Ayn Rand's policies that she wrote into Fiction Novels, like "Fountainhead" and "Atlas Shrugged", because he is an idiot. His economic policies might as well have been designed on the movie "Hunger Games". And if you endorse him you are endorsing unlimited greed, but I guess I can't expect much more from someone who dumps their wife after she waited for him to become a fake WAR HERO for blowing up his fifth plane and who would have been washed out long before if his family weren't already admirals in the navy. I have no nice salutation for you this time Mr. McCain because I am disgusted with even the mention of your name now. Goodbye

My Email Today From The White House

Good evening --

I just addressed the nation about the use of chemical weapons in Syria.

Over the past two years, what began as a series of peaceful protests against the repressive regime of Bashar al-Assad has turned into a brutal civil war in Syria. Over 100,000 people have been killed.

In that time, we have worked with friends and allies to provide humanitarian support for the Syrian people, to help the moderate opposition within Syria, and to shape a political settlement. But we have resisted calls for military action because we cannot resolve someone else's civil war through force.

The situation profoundly changed in the early hours of August 21, when more than 1,000 Syrians -- including hundreds of children -- were killed by chemical weapons launched by the Assad government.

What happened to those people -- to those children -- is not only a violation of international law -- it's also a danger to our security. Here's why:

If we fail to act, the Assad regime will see no reason to stop using chemical weapons. As the ban against these deadly weapons erodes, other tyrants and authoritarian regimes will have no reason to think twice about acquiring poison gases and using them. Over time, our troops could face the prospect of chemical warfare on the battlefield. It could be easier for terrorist organizations to obtain these weapons and use them to attack civilians. If fighting spills beyond Syria's borders, these weapons could threaten our allies in the region.

So after careful deliberation, I determined that it is in the national security interests of the United States to respond to the Assad regime's use of chemical weapons through a targeted military strike. The purpose of this strike would be to deter Assad from using chemical weapons, to degrade his regime's ability to use them, and make clear to the world that we will not tolerate their use.

Though I possess the authority to order these strikes, in the absence of a direct threat to our security I believe that Congress should consider my decision to act. Our democracy is stronger when the President acts with the support of Congress -- and when Americans stand together as one people.

Over the last few days, as this debate unfolds, we've already begun to see signs that the credible threat of U.S. military action may produce a diplomatic breakthrough. The Russian government has indicated a willingness to join with the international community in pushing Assad to give up his chemical weapons and the Assad regime has now admitted that it has these weapons, and even said they'd join the Chemical Weapons Convention, which prohibits their use.

It's too early to tell whether this offer will succeed, and any agreement must verify that the Assad regime keeps its commitments. But this initiative has the potential to remove the threat of chemical weapons without the use of force.

That's why I've asked the leaders of Congress to postpone a vote to authorize the use of force while we pursue this diplomatic path. I'm sending Secretary of State John Kerry to meet his Russian counterpart on Thursday, and I will continue my own discussions with President Putin. At the same time, we'll work with two of our closest allies -- France and the United Kingdom -- to put forward a resolution at the U.N. Security Council requiring Assad to give up his chemical weapons, and to ultimately destroy them under international control.

Meanwhile, I've ordered our military to maintain their current posture to keep the pressure on Assad, and to be in a position to respond if diplomacy fails. And tonight, I give thanks again to our military and their families for their incredible strength and sacrifices.

As we continue this debate -- in Washington, and across the country -- I need your help to make sure that everyone understands the factors at play.

Please share this message with others to make sure they know where I stand, and how they can stay up to date on this situation. Anyone can find the latest information about the situation in Syria, including video of tonight's address, here:

Thank you,

President Barack Obama

Re-framing the Conversation

P.T. Barnum said things like, "There's a sucker born every minute", and "The people who are convinced that they can't be fooled are the ones who can constantly be fooled." and was an expert at doing just that. I don't enjoy being lied to by anyone. When someone so much as acts even slightly deceptive in advertising so much as an editorial comment (headline implying one thing while the content says another) it reminds me of the people like Fox News and others who ask a question to imply something or say that "some people say" something that is completely ludicrous. I won't write like that. I might as well be working for "The Enquirer" or other "tabloid news" organizations.

If anyone actually reads where Rupert Murdoch came from, he inherited News Corporation from his father who was billed as the world's "King of Tabloid News". That is like saying, "The leader of the people who lie to you to get you to read their magazine because they don't know how to publish real news." They are the fake news professionals who have headlines like, "Was an alien baby actually found in an Iowa corn field?" with pictures of a doll modeled to look like an alien from outer space and when you read the story you realize it is entirely a "hook" to get you to buy it because during the first paragraph, they change the subject and go to the real story, which is always boring and never close to what the headline implies.

After a while, anyone with intelligence ignores "tabloid news", a synonym for "bullshit news story used to get you to buy advertising rags". But still, everyday when you go to the store, you see someone intently reading "tabloid news" magazines and papers that the rest of us have learned to laugh at by now. Unfortunately for the rest of us, those people vote. Those are the people that "tabloid news" is aimed at.

We also have learned from "conservative strategists" who work for the Republican Party that what they call lying is "Framing the Conversation". When they imply or come right out and accuse the president of things that are outlandish, the majority of us by now, ignore them. But there is always that guy who wants to believe that someone found an alien baby in a cornfield in Iowa, because that is more 'entertaining' than reality. He also wants to believe that the president was born to an American Mom in an American state, and who is also so involved with the United States Constitution that he became a Harvard Law Review president, as well as a constitutional attorney, and that he is actually, secretly, a Muslim socialist from Kenya, because that helps him rationalize his anger and hate for the fact that a black man is the United States president and life in the United States has progressively changed and also, has moved on without him or a care for his shallow bigoted thinking.

My Point Is That;
I suggest that we, as reality minded people, stop allowing the liars to call us what they want and that we start "RE-FRAMING" the conversation. We don't need slogans besides "Reality Matters". We can't let them call themselves what they want and allow them for any time at all to call us what they choose. I suggest that we start doing what we can to refer to them as what they are, also.
The people who call themselves "conservatives" are no longer conservatives, so here is our new "language re-framing list". Please start adding your own definitions and having them published by Wikipedia and The Urban Dictionary.

  1. We need to stop referring to people who call themselves conservatives as "conservatives" and call them what they are- REGRESSIVES: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=regressive
  2. Also, people who are lying propaganda spreading trolls on fake news stations like FOX need to be called what they are also - News Trolls:  http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=news+troll
  3. Also, tabloid news is NOT opinion, entertainment, or anything innocent sounding the way they try to advertise it. It is merely "BULLSHIT" and despite the sensibilities of some who are afraid to use language that they feel some might find offensive, we need to call it what it is -bullshit: http://gawker.com/tag/bullshit
Hopefully soon the people who want to believe anything outlandish will be framed into understanding the truth, but they won't as long as we are nice about it and allow them to bully us into believing that reality is "liberal leaning" or "left wing influenced". I am not talking about everything that is an issue. I believe the law is the law. If you don't like the law, change the law. If your politicians don't want to flow with the will of the people, you don't march on Washington and not follow through. After your demonstrations, you vote them out if they don't change the laws. Keep it up until the conversation stays on point. Don't ever get weak.

We must first remember that some people do not EVER want to compromise. With people like that there is no compromise, only extremism. Do NOT try to hope for bi-partisanship. The "tea party" is fueled by propaganda of the extreme right wing and they not only don't want compromise, they don't even enjoy reality. Most of their bought and paid for protesters don't even know who pays for their million dollar buses and the food and drink they enjoy all day while holding up home made signs that make them look like what they are, the same kind of idiots who buy tabloid magazines with headlines like, "Was there really an alien baby found in a corn field in Iowa?" When ever I see them protesting now, I don't ask myself why they are there. I ask myself, "What are they trying to distract me from that is really going on?" It's like the t-shirt that says, "While you were bitching that some guy bought a 'Snickers' bar with his food stamps, Bank of America was stealing 14 million dollars!"

We really need to pay more attention and take back the conversation.
